How To Braid Out Method 101 “Natural Hair”

Hey Guys!

Long time no see! I know, I know… it feels like it’s been forever since I posted a video! One week in internet world definitely seems like eternity! But I’m not going anywhere, just needed a break to take care of some personal family things, but I’m back! And I’m back with a requested video: The Braid Out!

I haven’t posted this tutorial previously because I don’t really do Braid Outs often; they just take a really long time compared to Twist Outs, which are much faster. But since I’ve received a lot of requests for it, and promised that I would upload it, I had to keep good on my word!

So I really hope you enjoy the tutorial and I hope it helps! Talk to you guys soon!

XoXo Whit

Hi Whitney!!! I absolutely love your videos and you're such an inspiration and motivation for all women especially for me a young lady, but i have a question: it's normal that a significant amount of shad hair coming out of my head every single day?
I'm a bit concerned because I detangle my hair every 2 days, trim it oftenly, I deep conditioned every 2 weeks with regular washes in the middle so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
PLEEEEAAAASSSSEEE HELP ME!!!! (I'm getting really scared)

Hi, I know this is a bit weird but I love love love your personality on youtube. I have started watching videos because I am transitioning and came across your tube. Boy, am I hook now! LOL… You and I are almost alike. I eat healthy, love to workout, in a longterm relationship and love my transitioning hair….so far, lol. You are so pretty! Well, keep up the good workand keep us glued our computers.

I LOVE your facial expressions! lol People often tell me that I they can tell what I'm thinking by my face. Your braid out turned out beautifully! I, too, prefer twistouts because they take less time, but this video makes me want to try a braid out some time soon. Blessings, and keep up the excellent work–I really enjoy your videos and have learned a lot!

Thanks for all the videos! I've watched pretty much all the vids now and I've got two questions for you:

I made both the smooth/silky creme and the fluffly shea butter cream, so….

1. How do you keep the silky creme from becoming a liquid? I use it everyday, so I don't want to keep it in the refrigerator. Do you think I've put too much coconut oil in the mixture? The fluffy creme is ok, though.

2. Frequently in your videos, you refer to your shea butter, but is that the DIY hair creme that you are using or are you using just straight shea butter. If its the "concoction", which one is it, the smooth or the thicker creme? How can we tell the difference in your videos as to which one you are using? Thanks for "listening".

Hi, I just wanted to say how much I adore your videos. There are few naturals here so i have to watch a lot of videos in order to figure out what to do with my hair. I have been natural for a little more than a year now and your videos have helped me sooo much! Please keep being an inspiration and light to young girls like me. You really are a role model.
