Curlformers Dupe! Magic Leverage First Impression Review!

I’m pretty much obsessed with Curlformers, that’s no secret! But I’m always getting questions about whether there are any Curlformer knock offs or inexpensive options, and if so, do they work or not!? So I figured it was time to test out the Curlformer Dupes called, Magic Leverage, or Vakind Magic Leverage, sold through Amazon! I was pretty shocked at the results!

This is my complete review and opinion, including First Impression! I hope you enjoy, and I hope that it helps!

XoXo!! Whit

I was sooo ready to ask you if I could buy the Magic Leverage from you because I thought that you were not gonna like them. Dang! Oh well… I guess I just have to buy my own.

Thanks for the VIDEO review it really hepls . Just this morning i purchase the knock offs on Amazon. Even with all the good written reviews i was a bit sacred and wish i could SEE the result. Thanks to you i'm more excited to receive my fake curl formers.

Love all your channels. Keep it up!

Could you do a video about how to prevent knots and tangles. I feel like even when I'm doing things right I still get then.

Hello Nap85!!!
I'll like to thank you for the videos and all your advices. I have learned a lot thanks to you. I have been natural for only 2yrs and a few months now. I stayed away from mineral oils and all that chemicals bad for our natural hair and I make my own recipes. My routine is pretty much simple: I moisture my hair every night before bed with water, glycerin and aloe vera gel and seal with oil or butter. Being from west Africa, I have access to real good raw shea butter.
I have been living in Paris for 8 yrs now and it is getting cold so I would like some tips on hair care during the winter season. Last year at that same time I was pregnant and I was wearing protective style. I dont wanna through that this time because the hairstylists in afro salon are not yet use to manipulate natural afro hair although being black; they wanna blow dry my hair, comb it before braided. Therefore I decided not to attend hair salon anymo'.
Thanks a lot for your time and good luck with all the things u've undertaken.
Mungu kubariki wewe = GOD BLESS YOU

Can you please tell us how you maintain your curlformers' curls? Or do they only last one day?

Hi! I'm asking the same question that NativeStrands asked. Mainly, how do you get your curlformer style to last longer than 1 day. I'm pretty sure I followed your video to the T, but they're frizzing up after 24hrs. I have 4b/c hair, i think… (4 something anyway), but I'm not quite sure how to troubleshoot?

Thanks for any advice you can give!

I give up. I've watched many of of your youtube videos and because I was learning so much I subscribed. I've made my own hair cream and lotion and oil as well as body lotion for myself and my baby girl (*she has eczema)…. All the products that I have made so far work well. I really like them. I have not put any chemicals in my hair since December 2013….. I did not do a big chop. Sometimes I resist change, but honestly I knew I wasn't ready for that. I would be happy if it weren't for the following: I can't figure out my hair type. My hair looks a mess (I am nobody's stylist). I don't know what to do with it. I'm considering buying the Curlformers or the Magic Leverage in addition to making some flax seed gel, but I'm wondering if that's going to make a real difference. I purchased an FHI blow dryer and flat iron and have used it twice. I'm not interested in damaging my hair with too much heat and if I want bone straight hair, I should just get it relaxed. Anyway, I'm using castor oil (regular and black) to thicken my hair and I have seen huge improvements on my edges, but I am at my wits end when it comes to styling my hair. I edges are driving me nuts. I don't like looking fuzzy. That may not be PC, but it's honest. Maybe if I lived somewhere that had a better cosmetology industry… one natural stylist in my area. I think I'm asking for help… but then again, I'm not so sure. I'd rather get my hair relaxed than walk around looking unkempt and unprofessional. I'm going to give myself the summer (I think) since I don't work in the summer. If I don't have a better grip on this hair journey by then, I may have to take whatever's left of it and go back to what I know. Feeling kinda sad right now…
